TK Theatre School is run by professional performers, directors, musical directors and choreographers - all of whom have a wealth of experience in the performing arts world as both practitioners and teachers. We only employ performing arts teachers with professional experience and all of our staff are DBS checked.



After studying at the Italia Conti School of Performing Arts, Tracy spent a decade performing around the world as a lead singer/dancer in various shows and productions. She has since been teaching the profession at Bath Academy of Musical Theatre, Bristol Academy of Performing Arts, various schools and at her own commercial dance school - TK Dance. Tracy has an MA in Professional Practice (Singing) and teaches 1-on-1 singing lessons. She has choreographed many shows over the years including the highly acclaimed run of Hot Mikado at The Tobacco Factory (Bristol) and is lead vocalist and choreographer for the Vocal Works Gospel Choir.

MUSICAL DIRECTOR – TIM KING : Tim studied music at Oxford Brookes University and gained his post-graduate degree at Bath Spa University. He is an experienced choral conductor and performer, with the ability to cross between classical, gospel, musical theatre and other popular styles. He is the founder and choral director of Vocal Works Gospel Choir with whom he tours regularly and has recorded several albums, and also of VOX Pop & Soul Choir which is a funky choir for 8-15yr olds based in Bath. Tim has performed with Take That, Reef, The Heavy and Susan Boyle and his theatre credits include the national tour of The Brownings (with Anton Rogers), Seussical and Hot Mikado (The Tobacco Factory). He is the principal and Head Of Music at Bath Academy of Musical Theatre - and has run masterclasses with West End stars including Kerry Ellis, Louise Dearman, Oliver Thompsett, Clive Rowe, Hadley Fraser and Rosalie Craig. 


DRAMA – JAMES MOORE : James trained as an actor at Birmingham School of Acting where he worked with leading directors and tutors to understand the craft of performance. He is Head of Theatre Arts at BTA, where he teaches BTEC Performing Arts. James is part of the creative team at the Prospect Theatre and set up the theatre company 'Spare Room Theatre'. 

From time to time, we also bring in other professionals from the performing arts industry to do one-off workshops and masterclasses - in the past these have included musical theatre/ actors from West End casts including We Will Rock You, Mary Poppins, Little Shop Of Horrors, Whistle Down The Wind and Fiddler On The Roof.
